Norman Godden - Founding Partner
Norman Godden led and developed Sheffield Ltd from a two person practice to New Zealand's largest human resources consulting group. He is now a Search Principal of Sheffield Search, the executive search arm of Sheffield. Norman also has been a Director of four listed public companies and a number of privately owned businesses.

Norman's experience encompasses:

• Advising on the appointment of non executive directors to both listed and private companies and to many organisations in the public sector. This has been Norman's main focus over the last five years, leading to the appointment of directors to some of New Zealand's major wealth creating enterprises.
• Organisational Development - has managed interventions aimed at organisational and cultural change in businesses.
• Recruitment - has recruited a large proportion of those who now run both New Zealand companies and businesses offshore.
• Remuneration - advises corporates on compensation for top management.
• Assessment - managed Sheffield Assessment and Appraisal services using psychological evaluation, behavioural interviewing and assessment centres. Initiated research into occupational norms for many roles.
• Counselling - personal counselling of both managers and academics in career transition.
